How to Find the Decoder Serial Number

Disclaimer You will need an ESU Lokprogrammer device in order to read your decoder serial number and model.

First, place your engine on the track or decoder onto a decoder tester. Make sure it is plugged to the Lokprogrammer.

Then, click "Programmer" at the top left corner of your screen.

Next, click "Read decoder data," from the drop-down menu.

Once your decoder is successfully connected, follow the steps below in order.
